ANTIOCH SCHOOL | TANGIPAHOA PARISH LOUISIANA | c. 1920's
This school is noted as the Antioch School on a USGS Topo map from 1949, but might also be called the Midway School. I believe it to be a Rosenwald School that I'm working on writing a post about asap.
Check back for updates while I continue to research this one.
The African Methodist-Episcopal Church was first constructed in 1890 from land carved out of the Platt Plantation.

I believe this to have been a Rosenwald School, built under a fascinating 1920's initiative.
[Tangipahoa Parish, LA]
The story of this boat is almost as incredible as its ending is sad.
