TOYAH GHOST TOWN | REEVES COUNTY TEXAS
This Texas frontier school was built in 1912 and served the community through the Great Depression when the town could no longer justify a large school.
Enrollment decreased as the population began to relocate to look for work opportunities elsewhere. The crumbling brick building was once a bank. The hollow house was once a home.
A powerful reminder that everything can change very quickly.
