Rodney Presbyterian Church Needs Your Support!

The short version:

  • Built in 1832

  • Shelled by a Union gunboat during the Civil War (damage still visible)

  • Cotton industry and Mississippi River shift and community leaves to find work elsewhere

  • The church falls into disrepair and changes hands a few times over the 20th century

  • The church is now in dire need of immediate foundation work.

  • $31,000 is left to raise (as of December 2018) for the emergency stabilization and time is of the essence!
